Chevrolet has created another concept car that will surely make Camaro lovers out there jump for joy. After the award winning Camaro concept presented last year at the 2006 American Auto Show, Chevrolet will once again present another Camaro concept car but this time it's going to be a convertible. The all-new Camaro convertible concept will make its debut at the upcoming 2007 NAIAS.

The Chevrolet Camaro was introduced to the market in the last 1960s as a response to the growing popularity of the Ford Mustang. It was available in the coupe and convertible formats and had a sporty appeal to it. Changes made in the car's design in the 1970s saw its performance dip but the company got its act together, in the following decade, and made changes in the design of the car, giving it also a more powerful and athletic engine. This saw the pony car's popularity rise and it became quite the hit amongst the younger crowd.

The world has come to know four generations of the Chevrolet Camaro and each of these generations were distinct and unique from the rest. At first, this vehicle was actually made known to the public in the United States and the rest of North America in the early part of 1967.

The hype was even upped when the hit movie Transformers was shown on the silver screen and the Chevrolet Camaro played a big part in the movie as the vehicle version of AutoBot Bumblebee.
