Jesus Christ had to be many things: the Lamb of God, the High priest, the Son of Man and so forth, as we have expounded. Every time he was seen besides God, He was shown in Action, according to the necessities of the great plan of salvation. He had to become all these things for the sake of our redemption.

Paul says all he wanted to know was 'Christ crucified' (I Cor 2:2). There is so much emphasis today on 'Christ coming' that this often obscures 'Christ crucified.' The Practical Gospel is all about living in the power of the cross: in 'Christ crucified.'

Many people have heard of the "Christ Consciousness", but don't know exactly what that phrase means. Christians, of course, insist that there has only been one person in all of history who had the Christ Consciousness--a Jewish carpenter or stone mason named Jesus ben Joseph, son of Mary, who lived and died in the first century C.E. and who, as it turned out, was really God Himself.

This article relates to how to build up a strong foundation for every child's life using a Catholic Home Schooling Curriculum. Read on.

When we learn to think like God does, everything looks different. The purpose of the gospel is to transform our thinking, and allow us to see things from God's perspective. This is why the gospel is a revelation (Rom 1:17) -- an empowering revelation of spiritual reality!

The Book of Revelation (or Revelation of Jesus Christ) is arguably the most complete future installment of God ever beheld by a man and subsequently addressed to the Church. In this article, we will look at Chapter one, verse nineteen, and consider the instructions given by Jesus that virtually outlines the prophetic book.

If we ever expect to receive good things from the Father, we must come into His presence from a position of Life and Holiness. Only the Living can come before the Lord and expect good things, and those who claim to be alive must demonstrate freedom from death by being Holy, not by our own righteousness, but rather the righteousness of Christ.

When we see ourselves as God sees us, in the power of the finsihed work of the cross, everything looks totally different. Our job is to see ourselves as God does, not as we typically see ourselves.

In creation, God made man in his own image and gave him dominion over the earth realm, having a kingdom as he himself had a kingdom called Heaven. He formed the figure of man from the dust of the Earth and breathed his own life into him. Thus he made a friend that he could relate to, talk and walk with. However, the man turned his kingdom over to the enemy, called Satan or Lucifer. Satan was the enemy of God, having rebelled against God's authority, and desired to destroy God's Creation. So God devised a plan to return man back to the original state.

In our own effort, we can only obtain the numerous curses that the Lord has pronounced on all who are imperfect; but God has made a way for all who believe in Jesus Christ.
