As Christians, we are tasked to put and maintain everything in its own place; that is, by fulfilling our three main vocations that are listed in the Old Testament. First of these is the fact that we are God's creation. This simply means that we live here on Earth for a divine purpose. Second, we are God's co-creators. We have to take care of other creatures as well as or even more than we care for ourselves. And lastly, we are God's partners in covenant. We have to maintain a loving relationship with God. This means that we are not just embodied souls; we are God's creation. We are created in His goodness and His image.
