The direct translation of Juche means self reliance. The creator of the religion is Kim IL Sung. He was a communist who launched the religion in 1956. It all launched as a political philosophy but then began to gain religious connotations in due course. It was in the sixties that the religious overtones began to have a substantial influence on the manner which the faith was received by the general public inside of that locality. The religion is an independent state that rejects the dependence on other individuals.

Of the evil variety, there's one that's been slain on stages around the world during the 2006 NTDTV's Global Chinese New Year Spectaculars.
