What is it that causes the holiday letdown and feeling of sadness? It seems that our hyperactive consumer society, will we go from one holiday to the next never having a chance to actually enjoy a reflect upon the reasons we have that holiday time set aside.

Depression often tags along with another serious illness such as heart disease, stroke, diabetes, cancer, Parkinson's Disease and more. So often doctors will treat the illness but not treat the depression which follows along. This is sad because if you are so dejected and pessimistic about being sick, chances are your recovery won't be the best.

Among the earliest signs of diabetes is a continuous sensation of feeling fatigued and listless. You may find that you easily become fatigued while doing tasks that used to take no effort at all. In the earliest stages of an illness, in most instances, the body will give subtle clues like this signaling that it is not functioning properly.

Usually depression is related with the psychiatric disorder. In this problem a person is unable to concentrate, loss of appetite, guilt, helplessness and hopelessness, insomnia and feeling of extreme sadness. Postpartum depression, or peripartum depresion occurs after a woman gives birth.
