During his junior year at the University, Leinart was named the recipient of the coveted Heisman Trophy.

Born Reginald Bush, this California native came into the world in March 1985 in San Diego. He grew up in Spring Valley where his father worked as a campus security officer and his mother was employed by the county jail as a deputy sheriff. While attending Helix High School, Bush showed a big interest in athletics as he succeeded in both football and track. Nicknamed "The President," Reggie later took his love of football with him as he went off to college.
