The United States' Presidential election in 2008 is one not to be forgotten. No longer does the typical White man last stand in the United States' succession line of presidents, this election showed that democracy does persist in the country. From this election, the first African American president, President Barack Obama, is born. And to make matters interesting, the results then had showed that his toughest contender was Hillary Clinton, the first woman to make it through into a major party for the elections.
