A home can be a greater source of pollution than a car, according to Energy Star, a U.S Government Environmental Protection Agency. The agency has reported that 16 percent of U.S. greenhouse gas emissions are the result of energy used in households nationwide. This is because the energy used in U.S. homes often comes from fossil fuel burning power plants. These power plants use up precious natural resources, pollute and contribute to acid rain, smog, and other environmental issues. If the nation were able to rein in home energy use, pollution and environmental impact could be drastically reduced.
The world at large has seen how great the wrath of Gaia, our mother nature, was on how humans continuously neglected the environment and disrupted the natural flow of nature. This is an issue that humanity cannot deny as it is seen in plain view.
