In today's society, we have become much more knowledgeable and aware of environmental problems like indoor and outdoor air pollution. We understand the need for energy efficient appliances, cleaner burning fuels, and the use of filtration in our homes. When we are presented with a product that uses HEPA filtration, we assume it will help to improve our indoor air quality. However, with the products using this technology costing hundreds of dollars and the annual cost of filter replacement, shouldn't we investigate HEPA filtration further?
