When we learn to think like God does, everything looks different. The purpose of the gospel is to transform our thinking, and allow us to see things from God's perspective. This is why the gospel is a revelation (Rom 1:17) -- an empowering revelation of spiritual reality!

Music is the finest expression of heart and mind. Gospel music is a kind of music that is traditionally been sung to express faith, devotion and praise to god. One can better establish a connection with god by gospel music so let your spirituality reach at that level where you can sense god inside and outside you.

The gospel is all about God. It's all about the finished work of Christ. It's all about (1) What God has done, and (2) We we are in Christ because of what he has done. Living in the gospel is living in spiritual reality.

When we see ourselves as God sees us, in the power of the finsihed work of the cross, everything looks totally different. Our job is to see ourselves as God does, not as we typically see ourselves.

The first category under gospel music is urban contemporary gospel music and this genre was popularized by the southern slaves who sang the song to praise their gods. In the20s artists like Arizona Danes and other prevailing preachers of Christianity made huge contributions towards making Gospel Music popular. They started making a record of gospel music in a style that molded traditional hymns with blues and boogie woogie style with the inclusion of drums and other musical instruments.

Receiving all of God's good things is one of the great mysteries of living a victorious gospel life. God even gives us the Holy Spirit to show us all the good things we have from God (I Cor 2:12). No wonder Jesus says his way is easy and his burden is light (Matt 11:28-30).

Prayer is a lot more than just talking to God. When Paul says to 'pray without ceasing,' he does not mean to become a motor mouth. Prayer is connecting with God, and allowing him to live through us.

THE LAW OF FIRST IMPRESSION says the first thing we hear often sticks inside of minds and hearts the most. Often times, the first thing we hear is not the gospel of the finished work of Christ. It is not the power of God for living 'the abundant life' to the fullest (John 10:10).
