  • QWERTY Keyboard - Nokia have finally announced the E71, their QWERTY keyboard Symbian phone. The specs had been leaked a while ago – but here are the full features and specifications. The Nokia E71 is an upgrade to the E61i, it is a more compact and faster version of it’s predecessor – but sadly the compacting has made the screen smaller and keyboard slightly cramped. It does make up for the smaller screen with a host of great features, such as the 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash and A-GPS is in built with the basic functionality of Nokia maps for free (full functionality is available for a fee). The Nokia E71 is a HSDPA handset and should allow for a maximum download speed of 3.6mbps where supported. There is also Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and EDGE connections.

Now slide phones are what Samsung do best – slim, stylish mobile phones with good specifications, and thankfully the Samsung L870 is no exception to the rule. With 3G/HSDPA and at just 13.5 mm thin it seems that good things do indeed come in small packages. The Samsung L870 is a great looking slide phone with a brushed steel appearance to it, not unlike the LG Shine of a while back, thankfully the Samsung L870 has much better specifications and prospects.

First the G502 which by all accounts looks like a pretty standard mobile from Sony Ericsson, much like the K660i that has recently been released. It will be a candybar shaped mobile with a 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, 32MB internal memory and 3G / HSDPA. There is nothing truly spectacular about the Sony Ericsson G502, but that does not necessarily mean it is a poor quality phone.
