"Most Tinnitus, Vertigo and Dizziness patients recover spontaneously - with or without treatment, during the first 6 months of suffering" (Dr. Z. Shemesh, Hadassah Hospital, Jeruzalem).

When a Tinnitus Sufferer is suing the insurance company for Occupational Tinnitus, he is very disappointed. The Severe Tinnitus includes many other associated symptoms such as: hyperacusis, insomnia, irritability, inability to concentrate, fatigue, weakness, anxiety, pessimism, low productivity at work and low mood. For all these and many other symptoms the sufferer gets only few percentages of incapacity. For the symptoms that are not the tinnitus itself, the patient is asked to sue the insurance for emotional incapacity.

The common denominator of Tinnitus, Vertigo, Dizziness and Meniere's Disease sufferers is the "healthy appearance" of the patient. Many of the patients are jealous of suffers who can show their wound, x-rays film of fracture in the leg or abnormal ECG.

More then 300 medications that are approved for treatment of various medical conditions, may cause vertigo, dizziness or both. An exacerbation in vertigo or dizziness can be another side effect of these drugs. The physician who prescribes the medication can not predict the effect on the vestibular system of his patient, if it is the first time that his patients takes this drug. Furthermore: a medication that was innocent in the past, may cause imbalance symptoms in advanced age.

Patients suffering from Vertigo are referred to a very comprehensive investigation in out-patient clinics of Otolaryngology, or, if admitted to a hospital-in Ear Nose and Throat departments. The main question is the possibility of having structural abnormality in the vestibular system with indication for surgery.

The history of "Pet Therapy" is unknown. Thousands of years, humans adopted various animals for pleasure. Dogs, cats, horses, goats, ships and cows became the animal friends of man in many cultures. The calming and therapeutic effect on humans is well recognized and used today as an aid to various therapies. The question is: can it help Tinnitus, Vertigo, Dizziness and Meniere's Disease sufferers to relieve their symptoms?

Dedicated workers with high productivity at work, reached a point of being fired or classified by the employer as "one step before firing from work", because of their low productivity due to their severe Tinnitus, Vertigo, Dizziness or Meniere's Disease.
