In the previous steps, we have primarily concerned ourselves with that which we are attempting to discipline ourselves and our organizations to do. From this step onward, we will concern ourselves with how to achieve that discipline.

Confidence is something that you can find. It is something that you can build. Start building your confidence by following a few simple steps.

As we look at all the luck that we have experienced in our lives, and remember all the lucky people that we have been privileged to associate with and learn from, it appears that there are some key principles used by all the lucky people we know.

Most people believe that the secret to time management is doing more things in less time. This is simply not true. The secret to time management is doing fewer things!

Remember that the road to success is a road. The destination is fun, but the journey is better. Find ways to have outrageous amounts of fun doing all the work you do on the road to success.

There are many, many ways that we can invest in the world. We live in a phenomenal time in human history when there are literally thousands of investment vehicles available to us. Many of them are confusing and hard to understand.

Problems tend to rise up the ladder at work. So, the higher you are up the totem pole, the more problems and crises come your way. Learn to deal with them effectively.

All you need is within you. You were not made for failure here. You have unbelievable resources inside you, if you find them and learn to use them.

There are four key questions we should ask when a friend asks us to invest in their new business. The first question is - When do I get my money back?

Don't let your problems beat you. Enjoy the process of solving the problem and feel a sense of accomplishment when you've reached the solution.

Go beyond what you thought was possible. Push yourself to be your absolute best. You will accomplish things you never dreamed, you will grow as a person, and you will be proud of what you have done!

In organizations, discipline is important in the area of behavior but is even more important in the area of systems. Organizational discipline centers on systems!

I say that whatever your problem is, it is also potentially and probably the start of your solution. If you take on a higher awareness, your problem is solvable.

I want to share with you five things. If you get these five things right, then your business will pay dividends to you every single time. The third is keeping your ratio of direct costs to indirect costs very high.

In Part 1 of this article, we discussed the courage, point of view, and the understanding it takes to successfully drop the ball and get more done. Here are the last two important lessons you need. You've got to eliminate urgency and treat your time as precious.

Find one area in your life that you can become an expert. Specialize in an activity that interests you, something that you are good at, and can continue to fine tune your skills. Your confidence will grow with your expertise.

When you give it away, it multiplies. Every gift you give comes back to you manyfold. When you cast your bread upon the waters, it comes back in loaves!

In life, all the rewards go to those who actually get things done. They go to those who have the discipline to do what they have set out to do. Here is step one toward getting things done.

Stop wallowing in negativity and giving problems more weight than they deserve. Make life what you want it to be! Write a new story!

Attitude opens doors. Always has. Always will. You can train skills, but you can't usually train attitudes. I always hire people with a good attitude.
