The Longines DolceVita wristwatch is a truly elegant ladies wristwatch, designed along class lines, thereby giving it a timeless beauty. The DolceVita ladies watch is for those who desire the best that Swiss manufacturing techniques and design but at an affordable price.

Longines having been making watches since 1832 making it one of the oldest Swiss watchmakers. Longines uses the logo "Elegance is an attitude" and it is this attitude combined with elegant design that has produced some of the most beautiful of Swiss ladies' watches.

The Longines BelleArti watch, though based on an older collection, comes with subtle modern styling that gives it a contemporary lift without abandoning its previous incarnation. It is an elegant ladies watch that comes in various configurations that will suit all tastes and budgets. I have only one criticism of this collection but, overall, I like the timeless elegance of these timepieces.

The Longines Evidenza watch will appeal to those who want a rectangular shaped watch that is a little different, though of classic design and elegance. Its design makes it an ideal dress watch for both ladies and gentlemen and is certainly one of the more distinctive collections of Longines watches.

I bought my Breitling watch about 7 years ago and wear it nearly everyday. Despite wearing it nearly every day, having gone diving with it, kiteboarded with it, and trekked across Australia, Scandinavia and the Far East, it looks as good today as the day I bought it.

What follows is a review of the Oris Chronoris watch. With its livery of black, orange and steel the Chronoris has been designed to offer that 'sporty look' that is so fashionable today. But does the Chronoris watch by Oris stand up as a good sports watch?

Patek Philippe makes exceptional ladies' watches. The company has recently enlarged its famous Gondolo collection with the addition of the 4949 ladies' watch. Unlike most watches, the diamonds are mounted, not on the tonneau-shaped case, but are found along the bezel beneath the crystal. The flanks of the watch case feature a very beautiful relief.

I've long been a fan of Oris - an Oris watch was my first ever Swiss watch. Since then I've gone on to own many fine Swiss watches. Although I own several sports watches (Suunto and Breitling being two of them) I wanted to buy another one. I chose the Oris TT3 Chronograph and am really glad I did.

Oris don't make watches with quartz time movements. Oris watches are famous automatic timepieces - the red coloring of the rotor in its automatic watches has become its trademark. What follows is a short review of the current models on offer from Oris in the TT1 collection.

Oris watches are very affordable, beautiful Swiss watches. They feature mechanical movements - some with automatic winding - with a trademark red rotating red rotor. The range of Big Crown watches is a particular favorite of mine and, while I was initially drawn to the Big Crown with Pointer Date collection, I've now shifted to the more modern styling of the BC3 collection.

Besides being renowned for the complicated movements of its men's watch collections, Patek Philippe designs marvelous, simplistic and yet very elegant watches for women. Launched in 1993, the Gondolo Ladies' collection by Patek Philippe espouses the brand's interpretation of the Art Deco spirit.

Panerai watches aren't the most well known of men's watches but this esoteric brand is becoming highly desirable among men who want a watch that has masculinity written all over it, all be it, written in a fine, understated handwriting style.

Straight off, I don't own a Panerai Luminor Submersible; my wife does. Although Panerai watches were primarily designed for use under-water and are therefore on the large size, my wife loves the weight and chunkiness of the Panerai Luminor Submersible wristwatch. She also thinks the Panerai Submersible is a very beautiful watch and I happen to agree.

The word Swatch actually comes from Slim Watch. Since its launch the Swatch watch has gone on to become the most successful wristwatch of all time, and The Swatch Group, the parent company, is the largest and most dynamic watch company in the world.

Tissot watches have been made for over 150 years and offer excellent value for money for those looking to by a Swiss watch from a genuine manufacturer with a pedigree in watch making.
