The Panerai Luminor Submersible watch is an iconic sports watch. What follows is a review of the models that are current available in the Luminor Submersible collection from Panerai.

Straight off, I don't own a Panerai Luminor Submersible; my wife does. Although Panerai watches were primarily designed for use under-water and are therefore on the large size, my wife loves the weight and chunkiness of the Panerai Luminor Submersible wristwatch. She also thinks the Panerai Submersible is a very beautiful watch and I happen to agree.

I've been a fan of Panerai watches for years. I like just about the entire collection from Panerai but there's one that, for me, that is special - the Panerai Luminor Marina PAM00104.

Owning a Panerai watch is a dream for many. Having started life as utilitarian diving watches, Panerai are now coveted as iconic sports watches. The watches of Panerai today haven't changed that much from their original design. The Radiomir Chrono definitely owes its styling to a previous age though it possesses a timeless simplicity and elegance that people never tire of. Panerai watches are becoming very popular. Their pedigree and history as genuine divers' watches combined with a rugged and understated styling has made them an iconic watch for many. But with them costing anything between $4,000 and $20,000, they aren't cheap. However, it is possible to buy cheap Panerai watches; you just have to know where to look.

Panerai watches aren't the most well known of men's watches but this esoteric brand is becoming highly desirable among men who want a watch that has masculinity written all over it, all be it, written in a fine, understated handwriting style.
