The need was not felt until the world realized the power of mobility. Mobile Applications were limited as data exchange was uncommon, and the devices themselves functioned in isolation from one another. Enterprises were unaware of the benefits that could be reaped from mobility. With advancement of mobile technologies most enterprises have started understanding that mobility can bring enormous advantages yet many enterprises are not sure how best to optimize and customize these benefits. A right way to go about this for an Enterprise is to build a good mobility strategy.

Just because nature has been harsh on physically impaired people, it doesn't mean that their life cannot be easier or, dare we say, normal under certain conditions. These scooter are usually battery powered. A battery is stored on the board of the scooter and charged via an on-board charger or a separated battery charger unit from standard electric power.

With better technologies becoming available today that are now providing better solutions, people with disabilities are finding it relatively easier to remain mobile. Today, wheelchairs are being offered that are much more advanced and a lot more convenient as compared to what was available just a few decades ago. Besides wheelchairs, many other devices too have hit the market that is making the life of a disabled, sick and infirm person a lot easier and more comfortable.

Several years ago, my daughter, a 17 years old college Freshman, was paralyzed from the waist down as the result of a fall.
