With the advent of Nanotechnology, the wear resistance, bio-compatibility, or electrical properties of a surface has improved. Nanotechnology is nothing but using the power nano sized particles ensuring superior quality performance and durability of objects. It uses applied science to improve the quality and life of objects by applying a coating. This enhances the life of the material.

Biotechnology is the integration of engineering and technology to the life sciences.

Biotechnologists frequently use microorganisms or biological substances to perform specific processes or for manufacturing. Examples include the production of drugs, hormones, foods and converting waste products.

The idea of building machines in microscopic sizes and making them function like construction bots for producing organizing and rearranging objects at molecular level is not easy to believe when there is no such technology present. This concept was put forward by Richard Feynman in 1959 in his talk 'There's Plenty of Room at the Bottom'. This was the first talk to deal with the principles of nanotechnology but this was not a new idea.
