Noah was a man of faith. He continued to steadfastly obey a command he had received from the Lord for 120 years, even in the face of constant opposition and ridicule.

Adapted to screen from the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name, The Notebook is one of the best romantic dramas to hit the big screen in decades. Garnering high marks from a wide-range of critics, The Notebook is a funny and emotional film which deals with love, relationships, and the risks people take. James Garner turns in a notable performance as the elder man, Duke, who reads the pages of his notebook to dying nursing home resident Allie (Gena Rowlands).

This is not having people tell you what to do, it’s not having people live your life, it’s not having people set your goals for you, and it’s about getting out of your own way and seeing you for who you are.

That inner light that you are has never changed can not change. With the loving mirror principle does is it removes the signs. If you remember that phrase, “Don’t hide your light under a bushel” that’s where it came from.

We can offer plausible explanations for the existence of Adam and Eve, and the flood of Noah. Obviously, many other questions could be considered, but unless you settle in your heart the questions of God's existence and His ability to fulfill His promises, you will receive nothing from Him.

One of the common claims by young earth creationists is that if Noah's Flood were a local flood, then God has broken his promise many times. According to The Answers Book, chapter 10,

"If the Flood were local, God would have repeatedly broken His promise never to send such a Flood again. There have been huge 'local' floods in recent times: in Bangladesh, for example, where 80 per cent of that country has been inundated, or Europe in 2002."(Footnote 1)

If you've ever experienced a self-help book, speech, or seminar, you know that these are the same 4 basic steps that every traditional success program tells you to do: Set your goals, Do something, Evaluate, and Try again.

You are not holding yourself back from success because you don't know "how to succeed". You are holding yourself back from the success you are capable of, because you have more Subconscious Why-Not-To's of Success than Conscious Why-To's of Success.

The Flood of Noah is one of the centerpiece arguments for young-earth theology. Because of this, I have been asked what I believe the Flood of Noah was like.

We live in a vast inter-dependent universe, whether we want to believe it, or see it, or acknowledge it, or not. We live in an interdependent world, not an independent one. We want to be independent, but what we really truly are is interdependent.

Step one of giving yourself permission to succeed is find your loving mirrors and safe havens, so this is where we just find them. Let’s talk for a second about loving mirrors and safe havens.

You can know all of the How-To's of Success, but if you have more Why-Not-To's of Success than Why-To's of Success – even if those Why-Not-To's exist on the Subconscious level – you will not allow yourself to succeed to your full potential, no matter how many How-To's of Success you know.

Your Why-Not-To's of Success are all held in your Subconscious mind. Meaning: no one you will ever meet wakes up in the morning, looks out their bedroom window and says, "Ahhh, the sun is shining, the birds are singing, and I feel great. I think I'll hold myself back from success today!"

Every decision you've ever made in your life was based on your internal Why-To's and Why-Not-To's: your reasons why you thought you should do the thing vs. the reasons not to do that thing.

Break the ice and throw in spiritual icebreakers! Have you ever been to spiritual retreats where all you can feel is tired and bored; everyone present is as cold and solid as ice? In times like this, the retreat leader should introduce spiritual icebreakers to break the icy boredom and individuality, then, introduce the warmth of teamwork and friendship.

Who would want to listen to preachers drone on about the meaning of each and every symbol found in the Bible? Who is still interested in listening to the same old Bible stories of Noah, or of Moses? People have heard, even watched these stories often enough to memorize them. With the waning interest in Biblical activities, a new development in the way Bibles are taught is necessary, if not called for. And the online Bible steps up to the challenge.

To receive blessings from God through obedience is the ultimate reward for living a Christian life. God’s blessings are too numerous to count and far exceed anything we could have dreamed for ourselves. He knows exactly what our hearts desire and He wants to give us those things if we will only follow Him in obedience.

Our subconscious mind is like a totally dark room. We don't know what's in there because we simply can't see it - it's hidden beneath the surface like the bottom 90 per cent of an iceberg. And when you can't see something, it's awfully hard to change it.

Sharing can and must be taught starting from the time children are tiny. If parents do not start teaching sharing early, children will not be equipped to handle social situations with other children.
