Also referred to as Dorsalgia, back pain is a pain felt essentially in the back. Usually such pains originate from nerves, bones, muscles, joints and other structures of the spinal cord. Any discomfort, pain or tension in the lower or upper back, often including buttock or pelvic region can be treated as back pain.
