I have heard it many times. Many coaches who have been in business for over two years have been telling me that they are not actively marketing their business and looking for coaching clients. When I ask why they are not looking for clients, it always seems like they are waiting for something before they can finally start marketing and get clients...

Many of my coaching clients are coaches themselves, and quite a few of them have asked me how to promote their coaching business online. Here is some of the information I have shared with them. Use these tips and ideas to promote your own coaching practice online, get more clients and make more money.

The very first task that I work on with my clients is defining a target market (or niche) for their business. We do this first because everything you will need to do to make your business successful, including creating an effective web site, starting an ezine, and creating online marketing plan depends on what the target market is.

These days we hear a lot about coaching. Coaching can be heard in every field be it sports, education, business, life etc. But what exactly coaching is? In the definition of Eric Parsloe of Oxford School of Coaching "a process that enables learning and development to occur and thus performance to improve. To be a successful a Coach requires a knowledge and understanding of process as well as the variety of styles, skills and techniques that are appropriate to the context in which the coaching takes place."

Coaching is a process of teaching and directing. The one who directs is known as the 'coach'. To grow within a society and to learn proper skills to establish and perform, coaching is very necessary. At every stage and in various aspects of your life, you will find a need for coaching. It imparts knowledge, discipline and skill to perform wherever there is a requirement.

Internet marketing coaching is almost a necessary thing in today's fast moving internet environment. It is necessary to move as fast as you want to when you first get online. You see, when you get started, you know…nothing. And how do you learn the fastest? By learning from people who have done it already.
