The entire context of Acts 3 and 4 is the healing of the lame man at the Temple Gate. This is the occasion of Peter's declaration that his level of power or holiness had nothing to do with it.
His actions, however, demonstrated that using Jesus' name for healing had everything to do with the healing of this helpless man.
Some in the church in Galatia were peddling a doctrine of salvation by works. Paul asks and answers three bombshell questions of those Galatians who were trying to peddle this doctrine. These three questions and their answers stopped their salvation by works message in its tracks.
You remember, of course, that Paul believed that Jesus' blood took care of the sin problem for the human race.
Now here are his three dynamite questions and their obvious answers.

Paul is very clear concerning this question. He breaks humanity into only Two Groups and demonstrates that only one of these two groups will be in the beginning Tribulation part of the final or 12th Day of the Lord. Like those who invent history, however, to buttress to their agendas, does Chuck Swindoll accurately represent the Reformation?
There are promises of healing throughout the Bible. There are also practical steps to obtain our healing. Three of these practical steps are found in the following scripture.
Jesus Christ had to be many things: the Lamb of God, the High priest, the Son of Man and so forth, as we have expounded. Every time he was seen besides God, He was shown in Action, according to the necessities of the great plan of salvation. He had to become all these things for the sake of our redemption.

Whether a professing Christian is murderous, denies Christ or even adopts Satan's lifestyle Dr. Evans promises paradise to the unrepentant.
