Many things are a mystery to me. Actually, anything that I am not familiar with seems mysterious to me. I don't really understand the world of race car driving, for example, because it is totally foreign to me. I definitely do not understand people who spend hours each day doing crossword puzzles. I can never sit still long enough to do one puzzle let alone hours worth each day. But to me, the biggest mystery used to be the world of skate parks.

Though skateboards were around in the early 50's and 60's and actually very widely used back then they weren't well made and so eventually died out. The early ones were basically just milk crates with roller skate wheels and maybe a handle. More like a scooter. The wheels were the big problem, being mostly of clay, and resulted in lots of accidents from slipping or breaking and causing a fall.
When we look at ways that we can relax one thing that most of us think about is going outdoors. Whether we are city bound, suburban bound or even living in the country being able to get away from man made places can be very refreshing.
Regardless of your age or of the things you like to do, there is no place to vacation quite like theme parks. I hope all of you have fond childhood memories of visiting theme parks with your family. I hope you remember waiting in lines for hours to experience the latest adventure ride and I hope that you remember the joy of being able to eat as much junk food as you wanted during your visits to theme parks.
