Sleep walking, noctambulism or somnambulism, which is mostly seen in children between the age 4 and 8. Sleep walking is a not a serious problem, if proper precautionary measures are taken.

Sleepwalking occurs when an individual is walking or performing otherwise normal actions while they are completely asleep and unaware. Sleepwalking occurs during slow wave sleep and for some reason a variety of behaviours are initiated resulting in the individual walking in their sleep.

One morning this week, I woke up with a black eye. How I got it still baffles me. I have my suspicions, of course, but some things are better left to themselves no matter how lonely they may get.

Lack of activities can prevent you from living healthy. When you do not enjoy activities, you may feel fatigue or find it difficult to sleep at night. When you awake in the morning, you may feel tired until you finally fall asleep. As we, age our body change and we have to make changes to accommodate our lives.

Sleepwalking and sleep talking are members of a group of sleep disorders called parasomnias. Though it's not known just exactly why children walk and talk in their sleep neither are considered to be serious disorders, and are not result of any physical or psychological problem. Both occur during a child's deep sleep, approximately one to three hours after falling asleep.

Sleep paralysis is when an individual experiences a temporary paralysis of the body immediately when they wake up or prior to falling asleep. Sleep paralysis is more common in the time period right when the individual wakes up than before they fall asleep.

For some people they may not realize that they have a sleeping disorder. They may just think that they are restless and have a hard time falling asleep at night. However, for some this may not be the reason at all. Some of these people that are not sleeping at night, may have sleep apnea.
