I've been in business for quite some time, and I have heard plenty of horror stories from customers regarding other dealerships. Consumers have an adversarial attitude towards car dealers, and I can't say blame them. The retail auto industry has done so many things to create an atmosphere of confusion and intimidation that many car buyers understandably dread the buying experience. FDA food laws permit its officers to take those actions necessary to protect the food supply of its citizens. Tuesday FDA officials decided that halting dairy products and produce from certain areas of Japan was within their purview under FDA food laws to ensure the safety of the US food supply. FDA's concern is dairy and products and produce from the area where the nuclear reactor is leaking radiation. FDA stated that all foods from this region of Japan will be detained at the border and will not be sold to the public.

I say "by and large" because some dealers I know use nickel and dime methods to maximize their profits, which I disagree with.
