The holidays can be very stress-filled, if you let them. You choose how you want to react to the stress trigger that you may face. So, how do you handle the stress? Start from STRENGTH. Yep, find something that you love about the holidays - it can be a memory triggered by the aromas around you.

Stress is a common word these days, a word that most of us feel. It has become socially acceptable to be stressed out all time. And people are now seeking a stress reducer or stress reducers to help them. I have found that most people are seeking a quick fix stress reducer. We are a culture that wants quick results. It's no wonder that we would want a quick stress reducer that makes us feel blissful now, and we don't want to wait for it.

There are different psychological effects of stress on a person. Most of these effects are negative and can cause additional problems to your personal and professional life. That's why it's important to know what these effects are so you'll know when you've gone too far.

The consequences of stress on the thoughts are similarly well-known. We will get paranoid, frightened, aggressive, or hyperactive. It varies considerably from person to person, but it's fairly straightforward to tell once you or somebody you recognize is below an immediate stress. It is important to realize the not all stress is bad for you. Some stress can make life interesting, and it can push you to achieve your goals. Because we cannot escape every commitment, instead of trying to eliminate stress from our lives completely, it is important to learn to control stress.

Rather than applying a balm to the sore of stress, why not find a way to stop the stress from getting out of hand in the first place. I'll take preventative medicine over reactive medicine any day.
