Stress is an unavoidable consequence of life. As Hans Selye (who coined the term as it is currently used) noted, "Without stress, there would be no life". However, just as distress can cause disease, it seems plausible that there are good stresses that promote wellness. Stress is not always necessarily harmful. Winning a race or election can be just stressful as losing, or more so, but may trigger very different biological responses.

To control stress we must control change. Otherwise it will swallow us up. If we don't take charge we will be out of control and stress anxiety can be a killer. For true stress relief we have to lead the change, not follow it. Today's change agent must be an agressive forward thinker. By taking charge we become the pusher rather than the pushee.

Stress is the "wear and tear" our bodies experience as we adjust to our continually changing environment; it has physical and emotional effects on us and can create positive or negative feelings. As a positive influence, stress can help compel us to action; it can result in a new awareness and an exciting new perspective.

The medicinal herbs play an vital role in curing people from various ailments including stress. Stress is supposed to be a major force in repudiating the strong will of a person. Stress is a major backdrop, which totally limits the functioning of any person. A person might be successful but may not be able to take decisions just only because he may be under stress.
