My search for vintage fabrics is a never-ending adventure. Apart from the general rummage through thrift stores, car boot sales or antique fairs, vintage fabric calls me from any direction. A couple of weeks ago, I helped out with my local community and had to visit pensioners, mainly for cups of tea and what not. But it dawned on me when I was visiting a charming lady called Eva, that old ladies stash lots of vintage and retro fabrics! So much so that their curtains are still the same curtains that probably saw the day their children were born. So while Eva was pouring tea, I started to eye up her vintage fabric curtains and rugs.
