The toothbrush is an important usable cleaning instrument, which we use regularly. Most people start their morning with the use of a toothbrush. It is not confirmed when the first toothbrush was invented, however it is supposed that around 3000 BC the first toothbrush came up in the form of a chew stick

You just brushed your teeth and you noticed that your toothbrush is all worn out. Worse, you feel like your teeth are totally not cleaned and your gums are a bit sore because of the hard bristles. You are again confronted with the ever recurring dilemma of trying to find another toothbrush. The almost unlimited types and designs of a toothbrush make choosing the right one seem very complicated. Even the shapes are that varied.

The Crest Spinbrush was my first electric toothbrush. It is not as advanced as other electric toothbrushes out there but it does the job. It has the most basic of features - no frills such as timers and blinking lights. It does not even have a rechargeable battery pack. Ask yourself though what do you really need from an electric toothbrush?

Whether we like it or not, we all know that an important part of our dental care involves making regular trips to the dentist, but the foundation block of oral hygiene lies at home.

As unimportant it might sound, choosing a toothbrush is an important part of oral hygiene. However people don’t tend to put any thought while selecting a toothbrush. Brush your dentures daily. Dentures must be taken care of like your real teeth. After eating, clean your dentures. There are toothbrushes specially designed for dentures. Use a soft bristled toothbrush so food in between teeth will be removed. This will help you prevent the formation of plaque. Use a toothbrush with soft bristles to avoid damaging the dentures. Carefully brush the dentures, make sure you are careful enough not to damage the surface nor bend the attachments.
