New statistics released by the National Statistics Office (NSO) have revealed that the amount of non-fatal accidents has gone down by 12 per cent in comparison to the same period of the previous year. Around 920 non-fatalities due to accidents at work were reported to the Department of Social Security during the first three months of the year. Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) was founded in 1980 by Candy Lightner, whose daughter was tragically killed by a drunk driver who was a repeat offender.
