It is also one of Venezuela's most visited locations and can be found in Canaima National Park, some distance from (but still within reach of) a collection of good hostels in Venezuela. So I don't know if I was the only person who didn't know this, but it is more expensive to call a cell phone internationally than it is to call a landline.
Most calling cards you will find now are global calling cards, for the most part. I mean most cards have some limitations on them and will not let you call random countries.
Prepaid international calling cards are what you will find in most store selling calling cards. These have a certain amount of money on them and you slowly use it up as you make phone calls.
A nation that is rich in sights and attractions, Brazil is one of the best destination choices when you fly south of America. Brazil is the 5th largest and 5th most populous country in the world. Its territory spans from the Atlantic Ocean to the central and east of South America, dwarfing the neighboring countries of Argentina, Uraguay, and Paraguay in the south, Bolivia and Peru in the east, and Columbia, Venezuela, Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana in the north.
So most prepaid calling cards are cheap prepaid calling cards. I mean when you think about it, the calling cards really are significantly cheaper than the cost of calling from a landline.
It is hard to move or even travel internationally with some assurance that you will be able to talk to your loved ones on a frequent basis. Thank god for international calling cards.
