The cure for the common cold may be a long way off, but thankfully through modern medicine and through the many alternative therapies that are available the cold virus can be fought off quite easily. The alternative name given to itching is pruritus. It is a very common phenomenon which can bothers an animal as well as a human. It is an irritation on the skin which creates a desire to scratch the itchy area. Itching can be caused due to a skin disorder or an infection which can affect the whole body.

One of the most common infections taking place around the world is Sinus infection. The infection is caused due to the attack in the sinuses or the cavities around the nose. Sinus infections can lead to some nasal disorders like breathing, respiratory troubles, high fever. Common cold if stays for more than 4-5 weeks it can be symbolized as a Sinus infection. Sinus is a very common disorder around the world hitting almost 17 per cent of the population worldwide. Some natural home remedies for Sinus can be beneficiary as it can make to lessen the amount of the infection.

You don't always have to take over the counter medication for a sinus infection. If you look in the kitchen, there are some home remedies inside that you can use to take care of the problem. Difficulties in breathing easily with a feeling of hitch to draw in air into lungs make one bound to inhale air through mouth. This congestion also causes tremendous headache that increases the suffering.

Many people are allergic to Poison Ivy due to the presence of urushiol - a skin irritant. Poison ivy, oak and sumac all produce this oil which can be very dangerous to you. This oil is found on every part of the vine. Sometimes the slightest brush can trigger an allergic reaction. Poison Ivy, Poison Oak and Poison Sumac are all from the same family but are found in different areas. Poison Ivy mainly grows in the form a vine along the riverbanks.

Toothache is a common problem. When the core of a tooth or pulp gets inflamed, toothache occurs. The pulp bears nerve endings that are highly sensitive to pain. Toothache aggravates at night when one lies down and the blood pressure towards the head increases. Toothache also worsens in response to pressure, hot or cold stimuli. Toothache may radiate to ear, jaw or cheek. Toothache may be accompanied by symptoms like pain while chewing, swelling around tooth, swelling of jaw, hot or cold sensitivity, bleeding gums, redness along the tooth's gum line, bad breath, etc.

Itching is characterized with an irritation and tingling sensation on the skin surface. It gives one a feeling that something is crawling on the skin. Itching can be quite uncomfortable, generating an urge to scratch the skin vigorously. Itching is medically called pruritus. Itching may or may not be accompanied by visible skin abnormalities like blisters, lesions or bumps. Itching may occur in one particular area of the body or may occur all over the body.
