It often seems like this world is filled with non-stop waiting. I go to the store only to wait in line. I go to the dentist, the doctor, the mechanic, and I have to expect at least a half-hour or more of my time spent waiting around. Sometimes I plan for these little waits by bringing along a book, but all too often I’m not thinking about it ahead of time, or I don’t realize the wait is going to be so long.
