The key to weed control is to make sure you stay ahead of them. If your garden is neglected, even for a couple of weeks, it could quickly become overrun with weeds.

Unfortunately, there's a lot more growing in your lawn than just grass. Controlling weeds in a new or existing lawn is vital to the health and overall appearance of the lawn. The most common active ingredient in granular and liquid broadleaf lawn weed killers is 2,4-D, but 2,4-D has little effect on ground ivy.
